“ great meal here. our waiter was lovely. the 90MAD set meal was good, and more than we could eat, and included coffee. beer was a very reasonable price. lovely area for sitting outside in the sun and just a very short stroll from our town centre hotel. ”

“ The food here is on par for flavor with the the other main restaurant in town. While they both offer the exact same menu, Etoile du Sud has had all items available when my climbing partner and I have eaten there. The service is fast, speaks excellent English as well as German and I would suspect other Euro languages as well. They serve beer and wine. Price is in line with others in the area and despite the menu only being a 3 course meal, you can order just a main course. Vegetarian options are limited to the couscous but it is very flavorful. ”
“ After spending 3 weeks in Tafroute I can honestly say this was by far our favourite restaurant. We probably ate there a good 7 times and on a couple of occasions took new friends there to eat, who agreed this was a beautiful restaurant. The food was always delicious (the beef was so tender and fell apart) the mint tea for me was the best in Trafoute, the atomsphere was great with nice music playing in the background, the toilets were clean and tidy, it was an excellent sun trap and Zachariah was always the perfect host who spoke very good english and always had a smile on his face. It will be our first place to revisit when we come back next year. Thank you all at L'etoile du sud for your great hospitality ”
